An orientation for all commissioners was held on Thursday morning, October 12. Elder Rob Brink explained the synod and its structure; Elder Joey Mills explained the roll of synod commissioners; Elder Diana Lim explained the synod committees; and Rev. Victoria Wells led a time for questions and answers.
Moderator, The Rev. Victoria Wells, called the Ninetieth Stated Assembly to order at 2:00 p.m. After scripture and meditation, prayer was offered.
